Tires recycling process
The rubber and steel wire in end-of-life tires are valuable recyclable materials. Rubber can be used to make tire-derived fuel (TDF) for power stations and cement kilns, to make granules for resilient paving, to make rubber powder for use in asphalt, to crack oil or to make recycled tires, among many other uses.
1. Collection and Sorting :
The first step involves gathering tires from sources like: Garage,Auto shops,Junkyards
The tires are then inspected for contaminants and sorted based on type.
2. Steel Wire Removal:
Before shredding, the steel wires embedded in tire beads must be extracted using a debeading machine(Steel wire separator machine). The recovered steel is recycled as scrap metal.
3. Tire Primary Shredding:
In this stage, tires are cut into large shreds using primary shredders. These machines operate at low speeds but with high torque, effectively handling tough rubber material.
4. Secondary Shredding:
Secondary shredders, or graters, further reduce the size of tire shreds into smaller chips, preparing the rubber for recycling into products like rubber crumb and matting.
5. Screening and Cleaning:
The shredded rubber passes through vibrating screens to remove: Fiber Metal remnants Other impurities
The cleaned rubber is then sorted by size and packaged for sale as:
Crumb rubber (for playgrounds, sports surfaces)
Rubber mulch (landscaping)
Tire-derived fuel (TDF) (industrial energy source)

Costs of Tire Shredding Plant
The cost of tire shredding machines varies based on their capacity, features, and process.
Entry-level machines for small-scale operations can cost around $10,000, while high-capacity industrial machines can cost upwards of $500,000.

Tire shredding machine
Rubber shredder is driven by the independently double-roller.During the production the material will be pressed accordingly for automatic feed. During the production process of low speed and high torque,there is no spindle entanglement,or jammed equipment,thus improving the production efficiency, the equipment is suitable for various waste rubber products crushing .
Tire debeading machine
Debeading machine is a specialized piece of equipment used in the tire recycling and retreading industry to remove the bead wire from used or scrap tires.the drawing hook is driven by a hydraulic system, put the tire on the drawing mouth and jut the drawing hook out the to hook steel wire of tire bead, then turn on the start button, it can pull out the whole steel wire by the strong force from the hydraulic cylinder. Meanwhile the rubber part of tire is torn because of the drawing mouth block it. Thus get the effect of separating smoothly.
Features of tire shredder
1.Ultra-low rotational speed, huge large torque
2.Low noise,less dust
3.Optional motor or hydraulic motor;
4.According to the different nature of materials, customers can freely choose integral shredding blade or assembled detachable blade ;
5.Optional hydraulic forced feeding device, more efficient, fast tear material;
6.Double locking structure at both ends of the shaft head ensures the installation position of the blade and prevents axial displacement;
7.Microcomputer (PLC) automatic control, with the function of start ,stop ,reversal and overload automatic reversal control
